Jose Urteaga is the financial planning manager at Zinsa, a company based in Peru and one of the largest producers of non-ferrous metals in Latin America. The company produces and sells a variety of zinc and lead products in more than 47 countries throughout five continents. Some of their products include refined lead and lead alloys, zinc oxide, zamac, zinc balls and zinc powder.
Zinsa began using Traderpanda.com as a way to gain exposure for its products in Tanzania,India, China and the Middle East. "Thanks to CABgate.com we have closed several sales with people from Tanzania, Pakistan and others," said Jose. "We receive inquiries about our products weekly through CABgate.com, so we are not only selling more, but also have a presence in other markets which expands our company's reach."
Jose said that Zinsa has done more than a million dollars in sales through its contacts derived from Tanzanina.com. "The majority of our deals were potential long-term relationships, but when the world economic crisis started, some of them had to close their businesses. We are now taking steps to develop some projects and to have them ready when the crisis ends. The market will strongly recover and we want to be part of it."
"Joining CABgate.com has been a great business move," said Jose. "We tried independently to sell some lead to Africa and the Middle East because we had a large stock and knew that lead was in high demand in the area. Despite all of our efforts we could not penetrate the market but once we listed our product on CABgate.com a company from Pakistan contacted us and two weeks later we sold all of our stock and even more."
